When should I book?

For any supplier you want, the answer is to book as soon as you can to secure your date in their diary.

Send me a message to check my availability, then we can chat over the service I offer, price brackets etc. If you have any ideas about what you like, I am more than happy to take a look and give an approximate price.

If you'd like to try some cake first, just drop me a line and we can arrange a sample box.

You don't need to know the specifics of your cake when you book, we circle back to that around 4-6 months before your big day.

To secure your date, a deposit of £100 is required.

Where are you based?

I am located in Coatbridge but I deliver all over the Central belt. That's my job!

The only time you need to visit me is for your design consultation appointment and to pick up your cake sample box (I try to do these at the same time but a sample box can be posted to you if that doesn't work).

Are Wedding Cakes Delivered?

Abso-frickin-lutely! Few cakes travel pre-stacked for obvious reasons. This means your cake needs to be set up on site and this is part of my job - making sure your cake is perfect on the day. This includes bringing along my tool kit and being prepared for any eventualities relating to your cake.

I also want to hand over to the venue so they know everything they need to about the cake and any extras you might have ie favours, cutting cakes, allergens etc.

So, yes, the answer is yes.

Can we try some cake?

You sure can!

I have loads of flavours to choose from, the hardest part will be choosing just 5!

Every booked couples gets a complimentary sample box to take away at their consultation. But if you'd like to try cake first before you book, then you can do this for a small charge.

So, if you are thinking about having me as your cake maker but haven't had a chance to meet me at a wedding show or open day and try some samples, then drop me a message and we can chat some more!

How much will my cake cost?

Gosh, here's a how long is a piece of string question! Every cake I make is bespoke, it is individual to the couple. Therefore, so is the price individual to each cake.

Some cakes are huge, but may be straight forward to execute. Some may be small but full of intricate detail and a cascade of sugar flowers.

There's a base price for each size of cake and the final price will depend on the design elements you add to make your cake your own. Those beautiful ruffles and stunning sugar flowers are, unfortunately, the most expensive additions to your cake. Why? Because of the time and expertise required to do them.

If you have an idea in mind for your cake, I am happy to give a ballpark estimate so there are no nasty surprises.

If you have a budget, let me know and we can work out ways to stay within it.

Final cake cost is worked out once your cake has been designed at your design consultation.

Other costs to bear in mind are delivery (based on mileage) and cake stand hire if you choose one of mine to display your cake .

Can we have different flavours in our cake?

Yes! You can have a different flavour for each tier. You can even choose your favourite and keep that whole top tier for yourself!
